Green Up

Winter? Still?

Lots of folks around the country (and globe) are experiencing tough winters.  Just when I start seeing robins hopping about, the weatherfolk are calling for more cold and icy weather patterns.  You may be asking yourself what cold weather has to do with Perfect Organics?  Well, last weekend when I was in New York City to visit old friends and make a few more, the complaints were less about the 12 degree weather and more about the state of chapped lips.  I witnessed a few folks attempt to relieve their affliction by applying something akin to puffy paint.  Note: I’ve yet to find an effective lip balm that goops and smears.   I guess the lesson is two-fold: first, puffy paint is in vogue in certain circles if I’m speaking of it, and, secondly, never leave home without your Perfect Organics Super Nourishing Lip Balm when meeting non-Perfect Organics users.  The irony of good products is that, since they work!, you don’t need to carry them around to apply every 5 minutes …(therefore I don’t) ….  So when people find out I sell body care products and want to try, what am I to do?  There I am in New York City, skin hydrated and lips nourished, with a group of people commiserating on the state of their lips asking me why I don’t carry around a first-aid kit of sorts? (And you call yourself a sales person….?)

I wanted to submit an op-ed to the New York Times on the topic, but thought perhaps I should start here, on our blog, and let the Times contact me directly.  Here goes: the Perfect Organics Super Nourishing Lip Balm is organic, vegan, wax free, and composed of raw shea butter and incredibly nourishing organic oils.  If you’ve never tried it, you are missing out.  Our lip balm is so good that Rachael Ray gives it to guests on her show.  Just last week, Diane Keaton, Brooke Shields, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Donny Osmond and many more of our favorite entertainers went home with some Perfect Organics products to enjoy.  But don’t take my word for it … try it for yourself, read the press we got on Style Pipe …and keep the puffy paint off your lips and in the hands of the artists.
