PERFECT ORGANICS ATTENDS “HEALTHY EARTH, HEALTHY CHILD” FUNDRAISER…
OVER $650,000 RAISED TO SUPPORT CHEC!

Tysons Corner, VA - A proud partner of the Children’s Health Environmental Coalition, CHEC, Perfect Organics attended the “Healthy Earth, Healthy Child” fundraiser in Los Angeles on June 1st, 2006 and donated Hippo and Turtle Organics organic cotton baby onesies to guests at the event. The recent creation of “Hippo and Turtle Organics”, an organic, vegan baby care line allows Perfect Organics to further support its already established partnership with CHEC as a portion of sales will benefit the non-profit. According to Debra Claire, CEO of Perfect Organics, “The June 1st event was truly inspiring. CHEC is making great strides in improving the lives of children and the environment by supporting important research and delivering the results in a simple, clear manner.”

Perfect Organics salutes CHEC CEO Christopher Gavigan and CHEC supporters for making the evening a huge success in which over $650,000 was raised to further the mission of educating the public about environmental toxins that affect children’s health. The “Healthy Earth, Healthy Child” fundraiser honored three outstanding individuals for their commitment to children and the environment : William McDonough, world renowned architect and co-author of Cradle to Cradle, Dr. Philip Landrigan, a distinguished leader in research and advocacy in the field of occupational and environmental health, and author and nationally syndicated columnist Arianna Huffington.
